Wow, Tanaka got with Shizumu instead of the childhood friend! Really impressive of him, considering he had more chemistry together with his childhood friend in two chapters than he did with Shizumu over the course of the entire series! Not a single bit of foreshadowing, even! Wowie that sure does make the childhood friend character's existence completely pointless! Sure sucks for anyone that liked that pair!!!

@keansor I think saying there was no foreshadowing is a bit much. There weren't real signs that she reciprocated his clear feelings, I think, but Kiyoko's not very emotive anyway. I think the whole scene with the childhood friend where (just as her cousin turned up) Tanaka was like "I'm sorry, my heart belongs to another!" was almost a clear sign that he wasn't going to suddenly move to a different target just because his childhood friend seemed accessible.

Anyway, the future is amazing! Osamu, too. XD
