@wolfkit773 i get what ur saying and i'm glad if you think this character is more relatable for that but people who aren't on the autism spectrum can also struggle in certain social contexts, be forgetful, miss cues etc etc. I'm not saying that he isnt autistic but rather that people will exhibit similar behaviours due to different reasons, whether they're related to upbringing, specific experiences, or even cultural norms. Even if we view him through a psychiatric lens there are a number of diagnoses which would describe his behaviour and mindset. I think on a personal level you can absolutely deem him autistic, but also it seems that the work itself doesn't really view him through that lens, instead ascribing it to idiosyncrasy. Feelings of awkwardness, forgetfulness, and clumsiness are universal! Even "neurotypical" people will admit to struggling with seemingly arbitrary social norms and having memory problems and I think that this specific work is stronger for presenting that as part of the human condition. But also i really cant say anything abt how u read this manga and youre totally free to interpret characters however u please!

Sorry! I didn't mean to seem like someone who labels, it's just that as someone with autism the character matches a lot of everyday struggles, like all of his stuff being shown as a 24/7 kind of thing that happens more than the norm, especially with the social interactions difficulties being at the forefront of every single conversation he has or like he told the girl her clothes were slipping off and a general misconnection with those around him over little things. Regardless of whether or not he would be autistic, it's still a cute manga and I can't wait to see the more!
