I know it might be pointless but I've decided to do this manga some justice by scanlating it from almost scratch, with slightly better scans, correcting mistranslated lines and adding missing chapters.

Just making sure, you know there is an official translation of this manga, right? I assume you don't because you mentioned this has better scans than whatever you're comparing it to, but the official ones are much higher quality than this chapter. Could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the official release has all the chapters too.

@Mechrast Yeah but posting offical scans of the chapters on mangadex is strictly prohibited, that's what causes managdex to go down

@LionRoy Then read them elseshwere. I'm not asking for them to be uploaded here. Just trying to making sure they know there is already a much better and obtainable alternative out there before they spend the time going through working on an entire manga series.

Don't get me wrong, but i'm not in favor of straight up ripping the Yen Press release, in any case whoever ends up loving this manga, will buy the physical copy, which is a win win.

I've never mentioned that you should rip the Yen Press version or that people should upload it here. As I pretty explicitly said, I was just making sure you were aware of its existence because the issues you mentioned in terms of missing chapters and better scans are already fixed by that version. If you're reason was just that you will provide a better translation than the official one, then that makes sense. But you also mentioned scan quality and missing chapters, so it doesn't seem that way. Not saying you shouldn't though, do what you want, that's fine with me. Just making sure you knew, and now I'm a bit curious on why redo it when you know the official does exist?

@Acceius Ok, just confused cause it doesn't seem like there's much reason to read your new version over the official one, which has better image quality, so I was wondering if the translation of the fan one was better or something. But if you're doing it just for the heck of it, can't argue with that. Hope it goes well. Anybody reading this, I recommend checking out the official translation. Image quality is damn good.

Well, I read the earlier scanlation, bought the Yen Press volumes, bought the Sentai Filmworks discs, and I suppose that now I will read this scanlation. 😶

@Mechrast The official translations have TL errors too (in particular I remember an error in one of the afterwords, either vol 3 or 4). Not that I'm discouraging anyone from picking them up, but I welcome an attempt at a more definitive scanlation.
