Well, to be fair, given how we see the world work so far, indeed a small number of people having power can be a bad thing. From monarchy, communism (when the leader realized that they have a lot of powers in their hand), massive corporations in capitalism, etc. It's not surprising if someone in this manga abuses the power.

It's not the problem with the system itself. A king can be altruistic and make decisions for the good of the people. A leader can guide society toward a good common goal. However, human's greedy and dominating nature can surface when the condition is met.

Anyhow, I'm glad that the series is getting back to the very intense wit combat where the protagonists will have to fight the enemy on both physical, emotional and moral grounds.
I hope to see more updates from this manga!
