There's also some basis in reality for that concept, hereditary memories. The ever present "they" think that a lot of phobias like fears of spiders, snakes and the like are inherited from earlier ancestors who had to deal with the constant threat of such animals. The full memories thing is a bit of stretch, but no longer seems like pure fantasy with that discovery. The best fiction is based in reality after all.

"I have no talent"
Can we please stop this bullshit. Someone with no talent can't simply revive a style using just flashbacks, someone with no talent would never reach the conclusion about the 13th form by just looking at someone else execute the same moves you do in a more efficient way. Tanjirou you're extremely talented, you may not be as talented as the original user, but talented nonetheless. Tanjirou reached the truth about the dance of the Firegod by himself, with no master to help him, with only the vague lessons he took as child, and never ever touched that training afterwards. Moreover he has natural disposition towards fighting, as shown quite early when Giyuu challenged him. Natural disposition + A mind that can easily reach the truth= Talent.
Talent doesn't mean that a person won't work hard to reach his goals, Neji and Tanjiro has proven this fact. You can't tell people to work hard and then demean the hard work of those who were born with talent by having them lose to someone with lesser or no talent and the inverse of that is also true. How insulting and frustrating it should be for the other demon slayers who started earlier and never reached Tanjiro's level, when Tanjiro says he has no talent.

The amount of mc bullshittery in this chapter is amazing but also Tanjiro looked so jaded it makes me forgive it.

"no talent" lmfao yeah sure. And Yoriichi was even less talented, my boy.

I'm happy to see Tanjiro back in action. It's also cool to see tha he's adapted (seemingly) to having only one eye. After losing his right eye at the beginning of the fight he seemed to struggle a small bit, so it's nice to see him back in form.

Am I the only one who expect Muzan Jackson's COMBO BREAKER !!! which stop Tanjirou's SSS 130 Combo Attack or the 13th form is ineffective just like his fight with Rui ?

"I have no talent" He then proceeds to use a lost art perfectly after only seeing the originals once, lol.

Well he already knew how he should move from his father, teaching him ever since he was growing up. He just never knew how to "breathe" to perform it properly until he went through demon hunter training and then only learned the "dances" his father did were actually a breath style from the visions and saw what those dances were really are.

Except he said that his family did a decent job of keeping the breaths CLOSE to the original. That means that the ones he learned by watching his father were flawed.
And when you've trained in something for just months, its hard to get rid of habits. Let alone years. And yet just seeing the memories once, he was able to copy the original 'perfect' version.

He said unlike his dad and that other guy he has no Talent. Not COMPARED to them. Which means he's saying he doesn't have talent at all. Which is absolute BS when you consider everything that's happened

It’s not that hard to figure out what the actual intention of that dialogue is. “Opposed to the two of them I have no talent.” Tanjirou never gives himself credit when it comes to comparisons.
