If there are any issues with the scanlation, please let me know. I used both Google Translate and Yandex Translate. I tried my best to fix all grammar, and tbh some of the stuff was barely legible.

Well it isn't good obviously, but I could understand part of it? Actually it was basically unreadable, also a lot of common Idiom used in these settings ware just directly translated so they looked super awkward, same with power levels

Reuploaded due to the second last page missing the english translation. @Valve Thanks for the feedback. If you could state the pages which were the worst and provide your view of how it would be in English that would be great.

The groups name is "QuickMachineScanlations", in the next chapter (probably Monday due to tomorrow being Easter Sunday) there will be a similar level of translation. This is my first scanlation, again thanks for the feedback.

@Nighko I'm a reader and a "logical being", I talk about should be's and Is'es, I don't do translations... Well mostly I think even if I did try to help it wouldn't help enough to feel satisfying.

@Valve All good. Hope you enjoy the Easter holidays

This chapter was just the first chapter, I enjoy this quite a bit. I'll do some research into the rank names as well as those idioms you were talking about,

@Valve Sorry about this. (Or anyone else who would like to answer)

Last question:
Would you prefer that I go back Monday and redo this chapter? Or just continue with the next?

@Nighko this is hard to understand for english speaker. Most of the sense is gone it's just translated words. Sadly im not a translator so I cant help.

@Nighko we technically waited for months for another update so few more days won't be an issue. Also, i think it's better to refine this chapter than jump to next since we can barely understand this and we will always be "barely understand" if you jump to next chapter without actually making the previous chapters comprehensible.

You should take your time scanlating since it's basically your first time (as you mentioned before) and do trial and error for better experience imo 🤷🏼‍♂️
Goodluck tho, we appreciate your efforts man 🤙🤙🤙

Family was going to watch a movie together, found out that it's one I've watched before. Refined the Chapter. Hopefully its more readable. @Gridlite and @Yamibi, sorry to ping you, if this is easier to understand please let me know. I referenced a fellow Machine Scanlators work (some illegible phrases were the same as Yandex's guesses).

If it needs more work, I'll come back monday and reupload.

I plan to upload new chapters of this Manhua fortnightly (I'll take a day off once a fortnight, I'll do research and then Scanlate).

Thanks for feedback.

@Nighko
So the "imperial capital hides and crouches" should obviously be the idiom of hidden dragons crouching tigers.

First he asks how many wu zun realms there are, then how many wu zun realms are in the imperial city, this seems incorrect, especially since it's followed by "you're not interested?" that doesn't fit at all with the conversation.

Really though, a lot of this seems to be a problem with it not being retyped as english but just translated, translating includes a large amount of rewriting sentences to make sense in english, not just translating words.

Thank you, I'll look into a better way to present these idioms (As well as others in the future). Hopefully I will have a more refined version available on Monday.

I would recommend using Pleco (phone app) as another translation resource, especially for idioms and interjections. It combines multiple CH/EN dictionaries to provide lots of definitions and has OCR if you're willing to pay for it.

Regarding the typesetting, try centering text in the bubbles, capitalizing the first letter of every bubble or using an all-uppercase font, and adding punctuation to the end of each bubble (even if the original text is unpunctuated.) It'll help a lot to improve the visual flow.

Thanks for picking this up :)

Thanks @honey, I just felt like it needed an update. Thank you for the suggestion, atm I won't be paying for any services due to still attending school and not having a job during the current pandemic. I literally have no income atm, I am applying for remote work though.

Regarding the typesetting, I am learning and will continue to improve. I'll make sure to Proof Read from now on (I was very tired last night which lead to the decision of trying to scanlate this and welp, now I am committed.)

I might've been unclear - Pleco itself is free, the OCR is what costs extra. I used it a lot in high school Mandarin classes. x)
Good luck with finding work!

@honey I knew what you meant. I'll see if I can extract the chinese text using an OCR, but so far all I've used have failed except for Yandex and Google. The I'll try running it through.

Thanks again for the suggestion

I would definitely try to get some better software than paint if you're going to seriously scan stuff. It's a shame to go through the work only for it to look like crap because of software limitations. I used to use a pirated photoshop and it worked pretty well. I recommend using Wild Words as your font no matter what program you use (you'll have to download it). Also a tip for typesetting, center it (both physically and alignment) and try to form "text diamonds" with the words in the bubbles. It looks far cleaner. A little more effort, but well worth it.

I didn't see the original translation, but the current one definitely isn't terrible. Not HQ level, but readable for sure. Keep up the good work.

Thanks @Wylie for the recommendation. I will look into software that would be suitable for this, I am however not a fan of pirating software (Manga/Manhua/Manhwa might not be available in my country, thats when I deem it okay to Scanlate personally. However if there is no official english translation then I am fine with it. However software is always available in any country). I'll try out Gimp
