I’m guessing these chapters are set before the two started dating. Or I guess this chapter could be set after that. It explains why she was wearing cute clothes on the date and all that, but the rest just seems kind of pointless IMO. I’m hoping it just goes back to her and Kisugi(the dude she’s dating in the present) soon.

From what I can tell the chapters probably aren't in chronological order and vol 2 is probably around after ch 3 but before ch 4 @gouder @liquidsword

from this vol.2 it explained why MC has many girl clothes before on vol.1....
and if this happen when they already dating, the imouto should know by now...

Its a combination of the clothes, the character interactions, captions and partly because my mind usually reorders the series of events for me... mostly because I have so many books and manga that my brain got used to keeping track of the general flow of the story.

Also I remembered slightly wrong 3, 4 and 5 probably happen after ch 6 and vol 2 is the time between 6 to ch 3 with 7 mixed somewhere along the lines
