The Duke is missing body parts is outstanding and there are too many implications to the fact that his flashback showed her in chibified form-- implying it's not artistic shorthand but materially observable to the other characters and a real-world phenomenon within the series. Thank you for making that announcement. Everyone is so trigger-happy to believe there's drama going on. While it's unfortunate that it won't be a collaboration, it's not wrong for 2 projects to co-exist. If anything it's interesting to read 2 versions and compare to see each group's approach to the story, but worse off other readers can just focus on their favorite translation.
