The last chapter (CH 18) hinted at it. Bourbon was standing in front of a glass case, and the reflection showed what she'd look like in a wig and dress. The maid was all giddy saying how good she'd look with long hair and a dress, and wanted to know why Bourbon was considering finally wearing a dress. And Bourbon was thinking about the crown prince when she said there was someone she wanted to look good for and to put a smile on their face.
The maid didn't say anything about crossdressing, so it's a good assumption to say that Bourbon is female.
