Never have I seen a manga so spectacularly fall from grace lmao. A random demon out of nowhere ambushed them in an open field was one thing, but this is just bad. This chapter could have been the moment where Ray’s character development finally finishes where he can get past his years of trauma and doubt to truly reconcile with his mother. But NOPE, has to be fucking Emma to make the monologue, has to be fucking Emma who gets all the spotlight bc she’s the main character. All Ray has with his mother is like 3 panels. The author truly only knows how to kill for shock value now.
