Ok, my 2 cents about the MC's relationship with his stepmom: i think both are wrong.
- First, about the mother: You CANT expect with 32 years that a dude of 26 will treat you as his mother. Not only its freaking STUPID thinking that you can achieve that kind of relationship, its ilogical and anti-natural. Stop freaking treating someone around your age like a kid, trying to control him, just because you married his dad. Once you notice that he aint a fucking child you will also notice how he feels about you going around the house in your undies.
- Then, about the MC: Dude, talk to her. Tell her that with that age difference you cant think of her as a mother, that at most you can think of her as an older sister. Try to make her understand that even if you are a shut-in, you are an adult, that you appreciate her good intentions but that its disturbing for someone so close to your age to treat you like a kid.
With just that, if you ignore the part about her being a former whore, you could live together without much of an issue. But you cant expect someone who ran away from society to speak up his mind and it doesnt look like she is the type to stop meddling into someone else business till you dont make it clear, so this relationship is bound to stay toxic till one of them give up.
Well, not that its gonna happen. At some point they are gonna fuck and magically their problems with disappear, tho a new ones will appear LOL
