@EnderWin Mostly Right except for these 2 points:
1. This is only right for normal long swords and arming swords, Bastard swords can easily go to about 2kg(still light enough that literally anyone could use it in combat, if they trained with it, even children), War Swords, can go as far as 5kg(which starts becoming very heavy but they are pretty big and bulky, so...), and Greatwords/2 handed swords can go anywhere from 2kg to 11kg
4. Katanas are not the best cutters, those goes to the cutlass or the falchion.
I both agree and disagree, Katana can be considered as the best cutter if you don't judge purely on cutting potential. Katanas are among the best cutters out there, but while Cutlasses and Falchions have even stronger cutting potential on their curved edges, a Katana's blade shares it's cutting pottential evenly throughout the blade.
You may not think this matters, but it means that a Katana remains dangerous at any range, while a cutlass and scimitar would lose some power at dagger range, and Longswords that are longer can barely cause any damage on their extra balde lenght unless they go for a stab, meaning for cutting potential their extra centimeters aren't worth crap and they'd have to enter Katana range for they weapons to actually damage their opponent.
As for the right points let me help you illustrate:
12. Females can indeed use swords.
They not only can, but in actual competitions there is no restrictions on their participation, they compete with men on even grounds(one of the few cases where this happens actually). This is possible because Blades are natural foce multipliers, which means that physical strength matters little in the weapon's cutting potential, Strength is only an advantage in that it allows you to use heavier weapons with ease, but that is not necessarily an advantage, because hitting the blade in the right edge alignment is what matters. Meaning, at the end of the day ability wins.
14.There's even worse ideas actually, such as those edgy swords with pointed guards that could potentially impale it's wielder's arm, imagine a broadsword with that and spikes in it's blade.
15. Which is a freaking shame, curse the law of physics for that.
