@TucoBenedicto Wow, a cross turning into an upper cut without losing strength was fake(not talking bout chap 8, genius)? No wayyy dude, how are you so smart. I wish I knew all this was bullshit. It's like saying how mangas where people develop super power don't know a thing about law of physics. LOL. You're an utter moron.

Yeah sports series should have some realistic feats to make it better, but to do that with every single comic would take years to go from ground to champ. The sheer amount of stupidity while trying to say it lacks realism, boxer irl btw. Clearly you've lost a few brain cells after some fights

Not sure what you are even bitching about, exactly.

We aren't talking about some minor dramatic exaggeration here. We are talking about borderline superpowers and not a vague hint of resemblance to the real sport in the whole series so far.
Moves are off the mark, stances are wrong, commentary is from Fantasylandia and we have a guy with weeks of training competing toe to toe with a heavier nationally ranked pro in the first chapter, then another one with NO TRAINING WHATSOEVER but super-human reflexes blasting people meters away with quick jabs in this one.

This isn't about taking small licenses from reality. This is fucking Dragonball-tier bullshit. At this pace they will float around and shoot their fucking kamehameha by chapter 20.
Not to mention that even once you put the real sport aside what remains isn't exactly quality narration either. It's a bunch of hyperbolic shit that feels like a 14 years old fanfiction.

And yes, I've owned and managed a boxing gym for the last 8 years of my life, so I love boxing and I care more about seeing a somewhat decent representation of the sport than reading superpower-centered fanfictions.
Not sure why that makes you menstruate with anger, but that's just your problem and you should deal with it.

@TucoBenedicto So my complaint was that yes, it's obvious it wouldn't be realistic, and you'd be silly to think it would be as accurate as things are in reality. To make a webtoon/manga that starts from the ground up with sports would become something as long as One Piece is, granted there aren't a lot of time skips. But there aren't going to be much people who would stick around to see a lot of filler training, sparing to get past obstacles. It seems you have a unrealistic approach when it comes to sport manga

While I agree with the fact the whole story comes from some child's imagination, I just don't see where the need is to talk about how the author would know nothing about boxing when it doesn't seem like he's trying to make it in the first place
