I'd like to imagine Prique is most upset not that Balt stole money from Prique's personal account,
but that Balt stole too much, relative to Balt's intrinsic worth as an individual (as seen through Prique's glasses).
On a regular, miserable day, Balt might have let the hooman lay where she was. Maybe tonight he was subconsciously feeling empathetic, having lost his job and all.
