Couldn't you condense them into two or three pages, maximum?

That was a pretty pointless short story. There was no twist, nothing surprising. The only interesting thing was that the dude seemed very suspicious, but there were no concrete hints suggesting he would be a player and a cheater (though he probably is, and he's sporting at least five girlfriends at the same time).
