Shounen logic and energy is strong here.
His "friends" besides familiars are simply scare crows in urban setting, which means they are just there for companionship and to be the outlet of MC's kindness. For example giving gifts worth millions as the repayment for minor things.
If you sum his giving and receiving ratio it comes as a net negative in millions.
MC himself is a spoiled brat with very weird logic authors reasoning for this "He is genius eccentric". Supposed enemies lack deduction or intelligence skills. (He wants to be an adventurer <-- Adventurer isn't a profession that needs approval from organization that's way of life; He doesn't want to be a tamer.....cause he doesn't like giving orders.......)
We could all shove it and say he is simply too young....Well counting his age is minimum 15y old (AND THAT'S A BIG FAT STRETCH).
It is known that he served other party for 7 years, he has living grandparents at some village, which implies that they likely let him travel and become adventurer at the age of 7 or 8, normally that age would be 14(maybe 12) but then his servitude to the party for 7y would make him around 21(19).
Author needs to think about what he writes. When you create stories you create a world and expand bit by bit. This author though writes as if from some "cheat" sheet for crucial points but doesn't really connect all of those crucial points. Also author likes to stretch the story, some events are artificially stretched, likely in order to increase volume count (basically earn more money before project closes down).
