I have to admit, it's HILARIOUS to no end! The only development is the MC just stumbling along and everybody praising the ground he steps upon, and every little thing he does.
The only thing he CAN'T reconcile is the "shitty system" that reincarnated him and didn't give him the ability to BE a Cultivator, but a cultivator of cultivators, all purely on accident to him.
Honestly, it gets a little much on the shameless comedy, I had to finally stop around Ch 100, just too much, and I've got another 200 chapters to go... it's like trying to slough my way through ONE PIECE... and I know THAT ain't gonna happen, ever.

well i've already gone through a 400 chapter manhua, whats another one
There is an "official" one (according to comick.io..which isn't on here o.0) - but when you get to "realmscans" one from about 200 onward ..it is some of the worst translation i've seen. So hard to follow, and with the common cultivator realms, of nascent, divine tribulation etc etc - calling it "the distraction" stage, and a whoooole bunch of gibberish.
If you're going to read it - the NON REALMSCANS ones - are good, and it really is a good story. Lot's of humor, bit of white blurring nfortunately -.- yano the "precise and lucky steam cloud" type. That get's annoying...but.. It is a decent story to read.
..If it's able to be read...and the realmscans stuff is pure crap, which will turn people away from it.
I do hope someone takes the time to properly translate those chapters and upload them - because otherwise most are missing out on a good story....that said, or wait for the "official" (doesn't seem like it, says novelmic at the start of them) to read it.
...but like i said, and i want to stress this.
The "realmscans" one, is complete trash, hard to read, more then a few are missing the bubbles being filled, and the translations are just pure garbage, and honestly..illegible in a lot of spots. Needs to be redone - THAT SAID - if you read the official, it's worth it, or ANY OTHER translation that isn't as bad - it's worth a read.
And not to spoil it (because it happens in the first chapter) - it's not marvin, it does look close, and is on the cover, but they change it preeetty fast (lawsuit wise, it's reasonable).. O and the color, and consistency in some of it ..like one being a gold dragon, next chapter, he's gray..for no reason.. is annoying...
But it's more of a gag manga.
I'd put it up there with a bit of bobobobobobo (i dunno how many bo's..think I have enough) from the 90s/2000s and ones like it, with a bit of a naughty side/busty side...bit of anime gags (Food wars..it's even referenced) ...without showing anything -.-
Altho there is some furry bait which is funny, and the demon lords/kings (or devils which doesn't apply if you follow realmscans and their bs) ...go to a fight to take stuff, and find that they get turned into, well...dinner.
"Why do i smell so delicious!" and everyone drooling, even him..at his arm cooking.. eheheh
Worth the read - like a lot of manga, manhua and stuff.. WHEN TRANSLATED PROPERLY SO YOU CAN FOLLOW ALONG WITH THE STORY.
The "distraction" stage, isn't a stage in cultivation. Divine tribulation, maybe - but following along..is freaking hard. Hope this spurrs someone along, and maybe give it A PROPER translation for the ones that realmscans screwed up (as of writing i'm at 290, have a bit of a headache, translating english to english in my head and trying to decipher this so it's legible) and haven't seen what rizz or the other one did. We shall see.. but it needs a proper one. I think i've stressed that enough, thank you for reading if you do.

I've read upto chapter 600 on Witchscans and I gotta say this is one of the funniest manhua I've read, maybe even the funniest.
They definitely prioritise humour.
Like the situation keeps escalating and new problems appear which gets you interested but there are only a few actual problems and conflicts story-wise. The main character is almost always capable of easily solving the problem or they get away with incredible luck. There is too much luck and coincidence involved which kinda makes it dissatisfying but most of the time the humour makes up for it (except for a few times where I was a little mad that something just happened like that after a lot of buildup instead of a fight or situation where cleverness has to be used.).
In one of the later arcs which I considered to be more creative, the joke was that those
The first few dozern chapters might be a little boring and stuff might feel repetitive and formulaic even after a few hundred chapters.
A lot of early-story characters are forgotten but they do recieve a sort of farewell later.
The exaggerated reactions, overthinking and reoccurring jokes are fun. The MC is overpowered and he doesn't know it but that's not full the story, it's also about others recieving fortune and... uh...
The ranks, levels and stuff don't really matter and they're not even really compared. Sometimes it's just fun to turn your brain off for fun.
Honestly if you want to enjoy this, then turn your brain off and just read.
