Re-reading, I never noticed on the first reading that Da Man's new wife is close to his age but a bit younger, actually very pretty, kind and considerate, and shares Da Man's beliefs that people should just love each other. And their "not fancy ceremony, jut serve some meal" is STILL a five tents affair.
"He deserves a beautiful, kind, loving, and (why not?) rich wife", was written in the comments of the last chapter where he appeared.
Thank you, Mori, for you wrote for him the perfect ending that he deserved.

"Many restrictions to women in the east" you must be joking. Eastern women had much more freedom than western women at that time period.
You have no idea what you are talking about. Western women had more freedoms in the 19th century than eastern women (generally). Unless you are specifically talking about nomadic people. From my understanding they could be considered more free but had less legal rights and education.
