We often underestimate how harsh the survival rate of a species can be.
These falconers have a great respect for the delicate process of training these birds. I bet sometimes they keep the ones they bond with too greatly... but what comes from the wild must be returned.
By training, feeding, and providing a much safer environment, this species was able to thrive much better.
