AI that is actually as wise as a fairy queen should be, would change the world. Hopefully, into a nice world where evil politicians are replaced by benevolent AIs. Anyway, the author (and probably the game developers) are not ready to explore those topics, so game AIs usually are less smart than average real-world humans, even when they seem "alive".
