People here talking about the MC being a pawn to be thrown around by the author as the story necessitates probably have no idea how much worse it could get. I'm actually pleased to see MC has a real personality that doesn't constantly contradict itself at every other turn and, for the most part, works in this genre. And also for once the MC isn't a sex addict.

But maybe it's my own standards that are warped from reading too many of the worst among all trash isekai...

The fairy queen is actually a totally devoted spouse to be with barely any faults, how high can be this guy's standards for real? Also in real life, separating like this is the fastest way to lose interest, never forgive, never trust each other again because you met others partners while the other side was waiting you.

No faults, except forcing him to be her husband when he has always only ever just wanted to be left alone.
