This was cheap on the author's part. I know he wants to explore new things and new sights, but 'never setting foot there again' seems pretty harsh. Even the way it ended looked like just throwing all established characters of the Fairy Kingdom in the trash. Sealing the ring's abilities, condemning the queen to be serious and being a good ruler for the people looks just bad. Like the author's sick of it all and the only thing with good ratings in the popularity polls was Pikasha. Lazy writing as it comes and MC just suddenly behaves like a midlife crisis kind of guy being sick of everything around him and being all melodramatic and stuff.
The worst chapter so far. And I'm not even that big of a fan of the Fairy Kingdom arc or the queen.
I mean, first he mentally breaks her because of a misunderstanding, gives a lukewarm apology and scolds her again for playing too much and being an unreasonable person in a passive-aggressive way and then throws her away with no way of getting into direct contact again once he leaves the Fairy Kingdom. He's one big ass in the last two chapters and doesn't even make up with her. Just some lazy writing, her being all devout, no back talk at all and even the dragons, the most powerful beings in the whole game, mentioned they are at their wits' end for ways of healing her. It feels like she just got in a nursing home just to get her out of the way.
My god, in retrospective there is so much wrong with the character development in the last few chapters, that they are completely different persons from the earlier chapters. Just their bodies are the same.
