Oh, man. This cycle. I've seen a similar situation. My relative was abandoned by his father when he was little. But when he became a father himself, he left his own children as well. I find it hard to understand. He became someone he hates.

Well, that was unexpected, but it's transgeneration trauma in Rinko, her mother and even Haruno.

Can now understand Rinko mother, too witnessed it it plenty of times, my ex parents also were abusive and upon injury didn't treat properly, she almost never went to a doctor just in worts cases.
When there was some an issue and I took her to a gynecologist, she wasn't troubled by the visit but the fact going there to a point of severe panic attack I had to princess carry with her struggling to take her there.
She was absolutely terrified to act normally, it was completely alien to her, couldn't heal all her wounds after years of step-by-step struggling, unfortunately.

Another one I've met came from arranged marriage, her mother was didn't stand her husband presence, show no affection, so she copied that and felt uneasy even when holding hands, kept distance behind unintentionally as her mother behaving her husband. It was too difficult to live if we were together but acted as strangers.

Then there was similar to Rinko, basically kept as a "pet", they shown no attachment in their household it was bizarre. Albeit they provided basic needs, didn't care about her as a person, same thing happened to her mother and she raised her the same.

Anyway, back to the story...

Rinko being left with her biological father wouldn't be better either, he is too controlling and cares only about his image, that would leave her to being also abused.

Think it's best if mom moved in with them and by living together, work things out but Rinko already decided to cut ties with her mother, it's a good step too.

Rinko living together alone with Haruno isn't right either, she romanticised him to a point of a lover and he still didn't properly explained how it's supposed to be.

Thanks for scanlation!
