Reasons why FL seems 'annoying' has a legitimate fear over ML which has made her uncertain and scared, ML literally took her to a cliff and shouted at her after seeing her with the guys she actually liked and could't tell him because of FEAR. like bruh comon give her some slack on that aspect.
Personally like the looks of Cabel way more than Elvin but don't like either in terms of personality so far. Cabel is made to look abusive but passes only because we know he's somewhat clueless and soft (without that i'd drop this series). Elvin is just a lack of personallity because they want to withhold information without hinting at what they're trying to withhold (also feels like he's shoved aside so much he isn't that relevant apart from his status rip). Renesha is just, fair but also the kind of character i dislike. She's not weak, obviously she has a lot of power. But she is very naive in odd ways? Not sure how to put it really. She has a little bit of an irritating character in that even though she may fear cabel she also never really tries to understand him at the same time? Even when they had time together it feels like the current story disregards that..

How does a child that small know he's this reaper. One, he's a Duke, doubt he's been out in public or around peasants a lot. Two, they've been at war for so long how would this kid be able to tell who's scariest apart from all the other tough looking guys following them. Also with the "Saint" in his arms doesn't that alone make him look better. The way they try to make Cabel the Villain with these poor accusations is bad writing

The fl is like a typical side character instead of main character personality wise. Her personality is really normal, she lacks charisma, not really interestingly likeable, i would say not very much your strong female lead character that most of us usually like.
There are also some manhwa with fl who are not very strong either, weak even but their personality are just too adorable to even to dislike for example at least clear headed or like proper mission based where character development wraps around it. As for our fl, we know mana wise she is strong, but that just not enough to cover up her lack of personality. She just like many of us, that's y very side character feeling. Lol.
Black ML is not properly developed. He can be more charismatic, but well idk how but he suddenly feel a bit too puppy like. Kinda annoyed at this, he can offer to much more.
Blonde ML is midly shown as shaddy, too good in the eyes of many but only some knew his real personality. Its already chap 44 still mildly shaddy. Well all royalty r mostly shaddy look at the king.
But well, i still gonna enjoy this manhwa coz i feel that there will be more significant character development in the future. But right now everything still feel out of place. Maybe all of this plot will have a reason behind it. Hehehhe

Yaknow, I'm beginning to dislike our FL. She's more exasperating than Ibelina. She's even attended to the duke for so long and been with him during this course of the war but it's like she's being willfully ignorant about him. Isn't it normal to get to know people even when they're just some acquaintance? Why does she still have these preconceived notions about this?

@scarlet_summer maybe because she had the commoner mentality that she had a hard time associating with nobility? Heck, she was pretty much an orphan/beggar before entering the church, and let me clarify, despite being in the same expedition for months, they rarely talk with each other, its not an everyday thing because they ,themselves are aware that it didn't fit their position to chat with everyday. I'm slowly not liking the MC. She's clearly the one in the wrong for lying and clarifying that she got the wrong person in the first place plus her constant prejudice of him killing her despite the numerous moments that should have given her some notion of him being different from what they expect. Even knowing just the fact that he can't sleep after three years of visits to their temple for him to just sleep should have given her a huuuge impression that maybe he's just suffering from the lack of sleep. She dare's to be angry at a cute and sincere Cabel even though its her fault she still hasn't gotten the chance to confess?

I really wished the false confession didn't happen because this way I feel like the royal family would approach Renee and match her with prince Elvin and it would be more like political marriage instead of a genuine one. Because it's a saintess x prince so yknow, he could take the throne and stuff.
I ship Renee with golden boy but we don't know his real personality yet. Although it could be a genuine relationship if the false confession didn't happen, I think(?).
Renee x Cabel is also cute. But I don't think it will be a safe, happy relationship since Renee has became a saintess by de facto and it was a false confession too.
But in the end, it's up to the author...
