anw, what kind of stupid original novel was that? I understand that writers will write anything they want, so a tragedy story where the MC suffers ain't new. But why the fuck would there be lots of readers for it, especially with MC being turned into the villain (and probably have a BE)? Are there actually that many people who love to torture themselves by reading such a masochistic story?

I'm worried, he's already on the second floor and he sent the servants away, how is he getting down ? By tumbling down ?
If the author doesn't exploit it by having the FL carry him in the stairs with one arm and the wheelchair in the other, then I'll be disappointed
