This was fantastic. I'm looking forward to more work by this mangaka.

I think this was the first time I've ever seen a manga character leap up and shout something and actually have consequences. Usually when you get a panel like the one on page 5, nobody bats an eyelash, but on page 6 everybody reacts. I love it.

And, like everybody else is saying, the characterization is wonderful — fresh, realistic, wholesome. The pacing was spot-on, too, and the conclusion was just right — the perfect oneshot.

I want to see more just to see the middle school flashbacks extended. 😁

Very cute but you know well that if this got serialized they would throw in a bunch of other girls and turn it into generic harem nonsense. Some things are better left as oneshots.

At first it felt like fixed version of "nega-kun and posi-chan". MC is not stupid, FMC has adequate chest size, and everyone is adequate.
At the end it felt like ideal version of romcom, "as they all should be". Guy and girl talk normally to each other even when they have some feeling for each other. And yeah, that moment when he asks her contact info without blushing. You know, after all those standard romcoms it makes a big impression, lol.
I also would like a serialization, but on certain conditions. First, they have to start dating by the end of volume 1. Harsh, yeah, but it's like this. Second, no harems, ntr or other pointless bullshit. Third, drama should be treated realistically, as if it happened IRL. They shouldn't be geniuses who know everything and how to act in every hard situation that life throws at them, but damn, I expect them to behave like highschool students who have brains. I guess it can even be interesting then.
Under these conditions, I think this will make out as serialization. Anyway, mangaka is talented, good luck to him in everything (s)he will do in the future.

Definitely agree with this. It would be a fantastic romcom - daily life of a couple like this one, with progressions in their relationship and without popular cliches and stuff like that.

That's it! Just like this! Leave this alone as a oneshot! No needed for protracted stories and rivals introductions and convoluted backstories and flashbacks..... Just a single cute story that can happen to anyone if they are lucky enough.

Ok, maybe 4 pages epilogue of them as a couple.... But that's it!
