most mountain route have a CCTV at the Entry and Exit of roads like this. the police could've easily gotten footages from those points and do a process of elimination for every car that was going in and out of it. Its a matter of time whether the Search Team find the emblem or the Tech Team from scour through multiple CCTV footages within the day or two.

Then again it wouldve made this a boring story if that was the case but maaaaaan
