Really good, childhood friend was quite reasonable and still cared about the guy. Easy for them to just come across as an ass in this situation. Shows it's worth putting up with bad art sometimes (everyone starts somewhere)
Hope author redraws this some years down the line, maybe even as a full series.

I think this is true for a lot of cases. Sometimes things just wont work out, and thats okay. The art isnt the greatest but it's at least very coherent and gets the job done. Hope theyll improve more because honestly from an artist pov? The author just needs to redraw and clean. Everything is decent

Surprisingly good!! A little criticism, manga "nerds" citing the most "nomie"(as most recognizable outside Japan) mangaka, like when she compared his drawings to famous but totally different authors styles is unlikely to happen, using less know mangaka names would give a more "oh, they really understand eachother" vibe! The childhood friend cared enough for him to know it's actually better to reject him, despite having feelings for him, it's a really nice twist! Imo, that's the strongest point of this story!

DON'T FUCKING SIT ON PUBLIC TOILET FLOOR YOU DIRTY FUCK

Jokes aside, I really like the narrative. No one is an absolute asshole. Everyone got their own proper reason to do the action. And the send off, despite a bit sad, is really warming.
