@IdidNineEleven Thank you for picking it up. Spelling and translating need to be work on but for novice is acceptable. Redrawing and cleaning can be difficult so no worry about if you cant. Biggest issue is the font's quality, better work on it before you post something next. And big question about posting in the volume 2 folder, decision that make access to chapter messy.
Each and every one of the mistakes can be forgiving for novice, but when they combined together, and frequently at that, will make wave of negativity that can be avoided from the beginning otherwise.
Anyway good luck in your endeavor.
Not sure what to say about that username. Should I be calling someone?
Don't even try it. The ones you gonna call are responsible for that in the first place.

Thanks, although I welcome negativity. Yeah, it looks like shit now that I'm not eagle-eyeing it. A big fibrous piece of shit. Lots of fruit and vegetables. Would honestly float in the water, which is a sign of good health. What exactly can be done about the text? I'm using GIMP because it's all I have and I tried LibreCAD but it doesn't images well. I've been slapping the text in the compiled image with the antialias tool because posting the text already-antialiased just doesn't work despite the option being checked. Is the translation too stiff in the second half of this chapter (I abandoned the first half)? I don't know how literal vs. language-manipulative I should be, my only point of reference for translation is seeing how CR translates anime and fucking hating it. And also Raskolnikov going insane (he's literally me) Am I to interpret the text or to speak for the character that says it? But SHITFUCK SHITFUCK SHITFUCK what fonts should I use? I swear I spent an hour or more mulling over it in a font viewer/manager program (lit. font-manager in xbps) and I can't find anything that satisfies both the box/bubble volumetric min/maxes (given the limited resolution) while staying faithful to the jp (the penultimate requirement) and the "tone" of the manga (quoting all scanlat guides). I gave up searching for a straight match to the jp font, what I tried for that looks even worse. And in the end, I stuck with the placeholders. Anyway if you pick a font I will see how bad I can keep from making it (the font). I white-spaced the unboxed text but can't make the painting tool have soft edges again so I don't know what to do with that either. On page seven you can see soft vs. hard white even in the same box! I also intentionally left the new text in the white-spaced spaces without much excess white therearound it to draw critique (advice) because I have no idea how far I should go with it. Of course GIMP doesn't provide outlined/backwhited text, or at least I have no idea how to summon it.

How would you have translated page three? The original text is
もともとも数日留守すると伝えてあっただろう
何を過保護なことを考えてるんだ俺は
I hope I transcribed it right, or at least the same as last time. I don't remember how I got what I did, but I know now to wholly ignore Google-kun and just interpret what jishoGYACKorg says, if it can be said that it says (whereas MTLs "yap" as the kids say).

And big question about posting in the volume 2 folder, decision that make access to chapter messy.
I didn't think it would put if far below and assumed it was required of me that I post it under Vol. 2. I'm already it's first victim. I checked the page and assumed the chapter was still in the spam folder or binned for featuring my boy. Ch. 9 - Ch. 9 was also an unwitting mistake.

As for the spelling, is it more than one instance of Kaeda and two of Azumi? I still haven't read it since MD accecptedf it. Of course, reading even the finally-compiled image in GIMP had me skipping over even whole bubbles. And should I assume you were the one to review it? It would be pretty weird if we kissed under the gallows where Saddam was hanged hahaha.

I swear this manga is cursed to be abandoned and picked up forever...
but ty for picking it, kind terrorist!
Thank you for the scanlation
How do I give NPCs a quest to find the platinum font?

Hey, thanks for picking this up after those ManhwaFreak dirtbags dropped it. I can't really offer any advice that hasn't been said already, so I'll just say good luck for now!

Also, if you plan on continuing to translate, consider making yourself a group name.

Greeting MTL fellow :bocchiwave:Thanks for the translation, i hope you continue translating it.

You can check this site for font https://www.insidescanlation.com/etc/the-idiots-guide-to-editing-manga/guide/type/fonts , currently i'm using wild words bold , but in the end it's up to you.

ChatGPT is another friend for this type of thing :meguu:
"I already told them I’d be gone for a few days.
Why am I being so overprotective?"

the command i use :
"please translate correct the following sentences so they use the proper grammar, morphology and syntax"
I hope this is helpful:win:

What drives you to translate a language you don't know into another language you don't know using a software you don't know? Just to advertise your patreon account? Do people really pay you money for taking propriety in the work of others? If ideology comes only after material interests, then what kind would come from this grifting? We should all be "helpful" and advertise our personalities as "MTL fellows" to keep any sincere critique (you are a grifter that vandalises the mangaka's work with false TL) as far away as possible.

That's not to say I blame you. We're all postmodern subjects, there's no point denying that desire motivates us. I happen to hate. But, to borrow Freud, one should strive to harness that desire productively (one thing I learned from the old internet is everyone is playing a character - the secret is, as Zizek says - that the character is the real you; social media hasn't changed that, it's just obscured it beneath the fetishism of your character also having your own name and image) rather than try to master it in normativity.

No, emojis and thanks serve the same ideological function I described. To toss aside the grift would be to toss aside the politeness (polity) which supports it. The politeness (polity) of sincere study of language or culture (jp & manga) is the inverse of grifter politeness, or what a grifter would describe as "impolite." You have to subjectively hate people (to be impolite) in order to objectively love them, like in Luke 14:26 "He who does not hate his neighbor, friends, family, even himself, cannot be one of my followers," Jesus of course coming "not to bring peace, but the sword." This is mirrored in season 1 of Vinland Saga, which you should have watched. Our protagonist, being a good person, unconditionally loves the person who raised him. Since it is unconditional love, even those who do not fulfill the condition of being that person are equally loved. Given that he loves all people unconditionally, and these people are killing each because they happen to be men, what is our protagonist to do? He condemns a minority of them (objective hate, despite subjective love) as matter of convenience to the lives of a vast majority (objective love but where is the subjective hate?). Like a good dialectical logic, the solution is both subjective and objective, like the optimistic "I just have to get through this shift" (subjective in that it is known by oneself to be a lie) despite pessimistically knowing that there is another shift tomorrow (objective because it is known to be true). The missing subjective hate is grounded in the objective hate for that minority of men whom the protagonist condemned a priori. He really hated King Swen. Anyway, if you understood then you would be impolite, not saying thanks.
