Is it possible to add a notification indicator for comment thread and other forum related activities on the main page?
Or is that Xenforo widget function incompatible with the main site's code voodoo?

Integration is being worked on, if you go to any title and click on comments you'll see this note:

What else exactly they're going to bring with it i don't know but integration between the two sites have been planned since probably the start (with the whole, "everything you could do in v3 will be added to v5" or however it went)
