Yeah, PCR sued Nhentai for Copyright infringement in US court. I don't know which source would be reliable but I got this news from torrentfreak too.

Nhentai got takedown notices multiple times but they ignored it and tried confidential settlements but got rejected.

There can be multiple outcomes if they lost the lawsuit, from mass deletion of sacred texts to literal Alexandria library burndown. It's still currently working in most part of the world. If it's not working for anybody they can probably access it through VPNs or changing the DNS in browser.
