TBF, males can impregnate dozens of women each. With sperm banks it's even expanded to hundreds. It wouldn't be that hard to function

1. polygamy would be encouraged
2. males would make absolute bank as a side hustle donating to banks
3. Men wouldn't really have issues approaching, nor even be expected to approach. Online dating also just becomes a more extreme version of Bumble.

main downsides

1. accidental incestual relationships would be a worry, DNA tests would be needed for a few generations to prevent this
2. ofc, there will be "sperm thieves" if there aren't proper channels for verifying how sperm was

I think it’s more like she’s ment to be like a creepy dad getting uncontrollably close to his teenage daughter. Something that often resaults in the daughter calling them creepy and hitting them away in manga and anime.
