I've seen a few of your comments. Is the one in related an actual Canon flash forward from this?

Also, looking at the raws on pixiv, it only goes to 16 but it doesn't seem like anything too extreme happens. I can't read it, but just looked at the pictures, because I was a bit concerned something bad happens to dude.

It’s not horrible, but she crosses a line

While trying to convince him he can easily be the victim of SA should he encounter the guy alone, she tells him to try to push her off. She keeps pushing it, pushes him down, and then she shouts “how far do I have to go to get you to understand?!” While ripping his cardigan off and thrusting between his legs. What. The. Fuck. If someone’s partner did that in real life, that should be it. Done. No more relationship. That’s crossing from demonstrating him being weak, and into just doing it…

, the conversation is weird, all the while the story spirals into weirdness.

and as far as I know, yes, it’s canon. I could double-check the email exchanges I had with the author, but the same tools (line work, how things are arranged wrt perspective), assets (tones…her desk, chair, bed, i think the couch…)
I was in contact about my attempt at dojng a translation of it for dlsit, but dlsite’s tools and rules were up my ass and I just gave up.
Ever try redrawing with various layers of spline curves? I don’t recommend it. They give you solid colours and vectors, have very specific rules and send you corrections before letting you correct.

Anyway, I really, really like that flash-forward. It’s like a microcosm of their relationship but more awkward than disturbed.
But do note my comment’s corrections. I spend a week on that! I’ve read and reread it. I have most of the thing memorised.

“Embrace” is not used that way in English-speaking countries. “Make love” is. That’s what it means… IDIOMS! Her internal monologue at the end there was so far off on this site. Maybe the other geoup’s official translation is better. It was literal, from what I saw, though.

I just think sex is a good means of conveying a lot about characters and their relationships, and there’s a lot there, packed into so few pages!

Ok, thank you for the response. It's kind of reassuring with the flash forward in a way seeing that their still together. My main concern is something happens to the relationship because while it is a bit...out there... I like seeing them together so that was my primary concern.

And yeah, I've seen "embrace" translated like that several times, not just there. It is an interesting thing.

I noticed 16 came out way back in March, and I'm not too knowledgeable about pixiv. Is the author taking a break/hiatus?

the author was very nice. If your translator reached out (their email is in the work, they have a Twitter for each pseudonym).
I kinda whinged in my last email to them because I was PMD-ing HARD, and now I’m embarrassed to contact them. I didn’t even read their reply, aside the English footnote that wished me well.
