The assassin and knight being kinda chill with each other actually makes some sense. Remember, the crusades weren't just non-stop warfare. After the crusader kingdoms were established, the crusaders had to rule over a population of Muslims that outnumbered them, so some tolerance was necessary and that facilitated a whole lot of cultural exchange. Although considering Teuton-chan is, well, a Teuton, the bullying is definitely more historically accurate.

On page 9 (91 in the book), they're playing half chess, half shogi.

It's the little details that make this a work of art.
