That kid has the potential to become a horrifying mage who will do anything just to prove it's possible. He had no qualms about going around someone else's home on his own, without permission, or taking an item in the house in his hands and trying to act like a mage with the item. Sure, you could say that's not abnormal child behavior, but it's not only that. Upon his first meeting with Kurune, he just simply demanded to be shown magic, even though she's an unknown adult he must have only known by reputation. At least he did dream of saving his father from an imaginary danger, but that could also be taken as a sign of ambition.

This kid's behaviour is pretty much on par with what they actually do in Real Life™. Quite often to the embarassment/panic of the Parental Units...

We all have our own standards. I did say it's not abnormal child behavior. Certainly things you do as a child will predict how you behave as an adult, though.

Adults are nasty things that keep an eye on children and teach them how to behave. Otherwise the children will run around causing explosions, because that's what children are wont to do.
