It honestly wasn't even that bad of an ending all things considered ( even if yes, they left a lot of things unanswered )

Also, it´s a bit harsh to blame this manga for the other one being "axed" just because they have the same artist... unless you all know something I don't?
Considering they were being done simultaneously for over two years, I don´t think its a fair accusation in the first place.
Honestly, I think they always planned on ending it around that arc, it's not that uncommon for the manga to be made as hype material for the novels.
