@sweet-potato I think it's because she got involved with him in a heat of the moment situation but hadn't really thought it through. There's a bit of awkwardness from him being her friend's brother as well as her boss now. While she's attracted to him, she's not inclined yet to pursue him but also likely feels guilty avoiding him. Add to that now that he's chasing her and she can't exactly dodge him anymore. Overall I think her distress comes from her awkwardness and uncertainty.
