Yeah, I now understand what the artist was trying to do. Though I think there should've been a conclusion to the romance (as there is in the novel) there were many great things in this webtoon. The Sword Saint arc was definitely the BEST. The apex of this series. It was there that I fell in love with ARMSBS. It's a pity that the rest did not quite catch up to it, but the ending was overall great. Thank you, dear artist! May you achieve even greater heights!

I wonder how the anime adaptation of it will be. Since season 1 wasn't... the best

• Mediocre art quality + ugly 3d that doesn't match the art style
• Poor animation, even the 3d animation is mid at best
• Bad audio mixing, where some of Desir's monologue is almost inaudible because the music is too loud
• The ost (the only good thing resulting from the anime) isn't available anywhere. And when you search for the ost, google only gives you the op and ed. My guess is that you have to buy the dvd or bd, but I haven't seen it advertised anywhere.

So for this chapter to remind me that there's going to be a season 2 doesn't bring me any joy.

Yeah, unfortunately if you're not one of the "Top" selling series, the anime just ends up being an expensive ad for the manhwa/ga/hua. And not a very good one.

Damn, what a ride; there were plenty of ups and downs, but it remained enjoyable from beginning to end! Desir really left us hanging in the romance department, though..

I enjoyed it. I do think Romántica won in the end, but I do understand the authors struggle since it does seem like adjust really got into the swing of it.

Strangely enough I don't hate his reasoning for the romance's conclusion. While he personally wanted Romantica to win it; his own novel went the other direction with Ajest winning Desir's affection. This allows both endings to have merit and not actively compete.

Find it kinda sad that after everything Desir suffered for he can't even get a harem ending OTL, my head cannon is the harem ending he gets both girls and Pram too, dude deserves everything for all that suffering poor dude

The ending was too abrupt. It should’ve been either one or both, but if he was going to say “Me” then he should’ve elaborated more with the chapter ending on a humorous or light hearted note.
