Ok if they're 17, and the next 3 years are school, they're in fucking college? Cause like yknow you graduate from highschool at 17-18 literally everywhere

I mean, I'm pretty sure they're in 10th grade, and 10, 11, 12 would make 3 years. The Age is confusing, but it does make a little sense.

korea calculates age differently. If they're 17 in korea then they'd be 16 in most other countries

To quote Dr. Google:
In the traditional Korean age system, a person is considered one year old at birth and ages up by one year on January 1. This means that a baby born on New Year's Eve would be two years old the next day.

So on average, the kids are 1.5 years younger (by the American age system) than the stated age.
