I thought this was entertaining enough and when I got up to date with the manhua I moved onto the novel. It's just misery porn. Li Lei ends up repeatedly and savagely raping the main character, while acting like its her fault he does it. Add on to that the continuous physical abuse she suffers from him and others and it is truly repellent shite.

Wonder if the manhwa is going a different route then, @Uthred cause it sure doesn't seem like he's like that in this. If so, that's a pity :\ bad enough the first guy was such a fuck up (adopting her, grooming her, then abusing her) and this new guy in her next life seems alright so far after 134 chapters.

If any of you guys want to read it, you can find it on bato.to. But let me give you a warning, the first 50-60(?) chapters are good, but it just goes downhill from there. Both ML & SML (add FL to that, too) are TERRIBLE. The novel is still updating, you can read it at Box Novel (about 1,000+ chapters). As @Uthred said, it's entertaining at first, but then starts to be literal p*rn & no character development (not that I know of, I dropped the manga & novel a long time ago).

The first chapter is rough to read. It's kind of like the author got bored of explaining the backstory of the character. I've read the first few chapters and the artwork is good, but the story and dialogue is pretty garbage. Based on what other people have said above about the novel, I assume the author just spammed out whatever was popular at the moment, not bothering to make the writing any good.
It's certainly not a 10.

I just got to chapter 10 of the manhua. He does indeed do those things.
Then I hit chapter 11 and 12. WTF.
Chapter 13, the MC is chained to a bed after being repeatedly tortured, her sister: "I WISH I WAS YOU!"

I only stayed on the train until chapter 17. After that I was basically done. There was just one too many things that made me go: "This is really stupid. Why am I reading this?"

It has some interesting ideas, but dear god it gets just overly... fucked up and edgy and dark for no good reason imo.
for rebirth/taking over another and being a musical focused industry series, should check out "The Dawn In Moscow" imo. Doesn't really address the gender benderness, but that is fine, it is very good
