@Xystus It is though, if she carries through. It's less bad since we can predict the consequences, but not something people should emulate.

I predict he will murmur a girls name, she will assume he has a crush, only for it to later be revealed that it was his sisters name he murmured

Obviously you have to do the thing where you place your finger on their eyelid to check for rapid eye movement (REM). I remember
Kaguya
doing it (might've been in one of the spinoffs tho).

@Xystus Bruh what are you on about. If she kisses him in his sleep it's literally textbook sexual assault.

@DrHizzle it's only sexual assault when the guy feels assaulted. Like if you hit my ass and I feel great about it I won't call it sexual assault on you even though it's sexual assault on another person and they don't like it.

If he's still asleep and she still kisses him then yes that's sexual assault too. But jesus can we stop going all "reeee sexual assault" on these type of romance comedy manga ffs

@Xystus 'Yes it's sexual assault but do we really have to acknowledge that?'
I mean.... yea? I think acknowledging sexual assault for what it is is generally a good idea. It being fiction doesn't change the fact that the actions taken in it are a crime. For one to healthily separate fiction from reality, the fact that it's assault needs to be acknowledged, even if the person in question chooses to look past it to enjoy the rest of the story.
It becomes even more important when it's something that is extremely common in media, to the point where people could get desensitized to it. The reaffirmation by other viewers that it is a problem can help fight against the desensitization.

I don't mean to say that you should always comment about when something is sexual assault or w/e, but to act like those that do are in the wrong is a very strange stance to take.

What do you think the "inb4" term stands for?

@DrHizzle because my point wasn't discussing whether that was a sexual assault or not. If any I agree that was a sexual assault 100%. But nevertheless you've just proven my point anyway.

@Xystus Alright, lemme break this down because I feel like you got something from what I wrote that isn't anywhere close to what was intended.

Your first post: "inb4 SJW bitches whining "this is sexual assault" reeeee".
Clearly mocking those who would point out that this is sexual assault. Which is what I argued about with the last sentence in my last reply:

"I don't mean to say that you should always comment about when something is sexual assault or w/e, but to act like those that do are in the wrong is a very strange stance to take."
This is saying "it's unrealistic to expect every single person to bring up the point that an act portrayed in a piece of media is sexual assault every single time such a scene occurs, however, doing so isn't a negative and is not an action that should be mocked."

I don't know how you managed to come to the conclusion that I was agreeing with your original comment, but I 100% was not.

@DrHizzle If you look at my posts I never said they were wrong. My first post was literally saying "whining". They are unnecessary, they add nothing to the discussion for what happened in the story. It's like people who complain about domestic abuse when Chichi hits Goku, people who complain about child labor in Naruto. Those aren't the focus of the series but people chose to nitpick a single situation out of the series and just label them with these criminal acts. This series too. The focus is about the comedy romance, and I'm bloody sure af this isn't a sexual assault situation because that's not the focus. You take em out and apply it in real life then yes, of course it's sexual assault. But within the premise of such manga, for god sake, it isn't going to be a sexual assault.
