What are you talking about? Emi is a boy’s name too.

Nah but you are right. I just wanted to retain the secret because of how unexpected it was. For reference, this webcomic started in April 2021. The series plays coy about the MC’s new name before a comic in November 2022 where the mom goes “oh, you’re such a pretty girl” and the MC goes “I’M A WHAT?” The commenters apparently expressed surprise, since it wasn’t really hinted in-story at all.

The volume release has an extra chapter early on where it spells it out, though, which sorta spoils it.

I’ll leave that up to whoever wants to take over, but if nobody does and I’m forced to continue I might mention it in a translation note or something.
