Guy was literally dying because of the Ghost chick. He'd 100% be dead by now had they not intervened. Yeah sure it's getting in the way of the romance but in their situation I'd rather that than seeing my friend y'know die

Had the friends done what they should have in the first place, like actually being his friends and hang out and shit then maybe the guy wouldn't have rushed into death to begin with. He clung that hard to the ghost because the ghost was the only one that actually made him feel needed as a person.

A lot of projecting going on in these comments. We literally know nothing about the guy's friends other than that they care enough about him to notice when he starts to act differently. The ghost was already killing him before they locked him in the hospital, that’s why he collapsed. This is a story about toxic relationships, not toxic friends.

@Rheeve where are you getting this info cuz it for sure isn’t in the manga. His friends visit the house and he only starts detaching from them when he starts placing the ghost trying to kill him as more important than them. The only thing is he’s been rejected a few times, but that’s not his friends fault so he shouldn’t be losing trust in them.
