I think the writer just drew this to show how stupid this FMC can be.

I mean, how could she not notice this amazingly devoted male lead until she had so many relationships with other men?

This is a purely biased opinion, but I would like to see more wish fulfillment in this story, rather than adding half-assed reality to this story.
