What kind of ban message do you see?
There are a few different types of ban you can receive. please check the sections below according to the ban message you see. Do not flood the support channel with pings, questions, or speculation.
1. 403: Temporarily Banned
This is an automated ban for sending too many requests to our servers. Just wait 15 minutes without loading the site, then try again. If you are encountering this frequently, it might be caused by refreshing many tabs at once, userscripts, browser extensions, or weird behavior of your browser. If your public IP is shared with other people (VPNs, roommates, public Wi-Fis), it might also be caused by requests sent by them.
2. Unable to begin upload (no upload permissions / upload banned)
Your upload permissions were removed due to uploading rule-breaking content. If you would like to contest this, please mention your username on the site or you will not get a response. While you wait for a staff response, feel free to take a moment to review the
site rules.
3. On my profile my Role says "Banned" (main site ban)
Your account was banned due to significant or repeated rule-breaking. If you would like to contest this, please mention your username on the site or you will not get a response. You might have to wait for a staff member to DM you, please be prepared to explain your case. While you wait for a staff response, feel free to take a moment to review the
site rules.
4. Oops! We ran into some problems (forum ban)
If the reason says "Spam", you might've been caught in the automated spam filter. If the reason is something else, your account was banned due to rule-breaking.
