Ooooh my, I was thinking Furuya might finally be getting back on his feet this game!! Especially since author likes Furuya very much!!
But considering that he gets shaken up easily, this first pitch might actually be bad?!?!
But WAIT! the batter still got OUT, that means 1 out and no bases. Furuya gets especially shaken when there are runners on base! So this might be okay!? After all it’s still first pitch, so he can still get back on his feet, too early in game to know.
And perhaps he gets back on his feet eventually, but tires himself out quickly from intense physiological warfare and sawamura will have to step. Well Kawakami is still on the bench so maaaaybe not.
As you can see I read to many baseball mangas.....

I think furuya will probably be alright, he can't be down and out forever. I'm thinking he may learn something from this match, or at least gain some mental fortitude. There's no way sawamura can carry the team on his own when they face off against inajitsu.

Fufu (my nickname for Furuya) makes me nervous sometimes, but I think he'll be okay. I hope. It'd be awesome if he could pitch till at least the 6th.
