This kind of manga are just trauma porn !
The only thing you get from reading those are horrible scenes from girls/women getting raped, stalked, blackmailed, harassed, humiliated, killed or whatever sexist, misogyny things you can do to women. EVERY FUCKING TIME when you have a woman in this kind manga !
This manga, and all of his kind, only exist to show women getting abused. They never try to talk about why these dudes do these horrible things, why it's a large majority of men who do these shits, why they are not arrested after their first crime and for some even after people discover their doings, why girls don't talk about it when they happened to undergo these things, etc....
It's just "Want to see a girl naked, abused, having sex and killed ? Here I have all of those ! But don't worry, at the end the bad will pay for it... Maybe ?".

You didn't get the manga at all.
You complain about the manga being mysoginistic but fail to see that the manga doesn't show "why these dudes do horrible things" for a reason: because the reason doesn't matter, abusers and criminals don't need a reason to do what they do, and what women who suffer from violence need the least, is a piece of media that shows "their side of the story" to humanize them and make people empathize with them. I don't want to know why they do what they do, I don't care, I don't think there's a reason to justify what they do, why would I want to heart it? What needs to be hear and known, is that they keep getting away with it.
Yuuki was charged on substance possession, did you know that you get a bigger sentence from that in Japan than for possession of illegal material of minors? Cause it's true, just ask the author of Rurouni Kenshin.
"They don't talk about why they are not arrested at the first crime".
You didn't read the manga. Mako REPORTED HIM TO THE POLICE and they didn't do nothing, which again, is a real thing that happens on Japan. A couple of years ago an idol was harrassed and almost murdered by a stalker, and instead of arresting the stalker, they made the idol apologize in public for "being involved in a scandal".
"They don't talk about why they don't report"
AGAIN the manga shows that Mako didn't want to face public ostracism, because in Japan, that is likely what would have happened. Hell, it happens on every country. Have you heard of the term "revenge p0rn"? And is not a crime on most countries. On top of that, Mako was constantly threatened by the guy who told her that he had contacts on the government (which seems to be true, considering his legal case) and with the Yakuza. She was a poor girl with no family, and she had everything against her.
You failed to see the manga, if you did even read it. And what's worse, you fail to see that this manga isn't idealizing anything, is a realistic portrayal of something that happens every single day.
Not a single scene was supposed to be gratitious. The parts where Mako recounts how she met with Akatsuki are an accurate portrayal of how abusers get away with everything.
I hate how there's people with 0 media literacy that refuse to analyze or even actually read the media they're complaining about. The manga even has its own TW so that you don't read it if you don't want to. AND THIS MANGA was made by a woman. And it didn't show anything justifying or sexualizing the situation the protagonists were in. Hell, at the end of the manga the lawyer says "society has failed of children can't rely on adults to protect them". How much obvious do you need it to be?
Nana shows Nana being abused, marrying, and then having a kid with the same guy. But in this manga the guy ends in jail and you are complaining about it? Give me a break.

It's seems that this manga mean a lot to you but I'm not taking out my comment. It's a trauma porn. Maybe it wasn't what the author wanted to connect but it's how I perceived it. No, I'm not qualifying it as misogynistic, they are mangas way worst in that category.
If she wanted to show light the horror of being an abuser's victim and how to report their horrible behavior to cops and get justice... She did it the wrong way. If you want to show light a problem you need to know what caused it and even more when it's happening so frequently. It's not about humanizing the abusers, it's to identify what pushed them to do it, why aren't they afraid when they did it, what are they gaining from doing it and the justice, cops, society don't do something about them ! You can't solve a problem without knowing the source.
It's not an individual problem. People don't do something for nothing.
And it being made by a woman doesn't legitimate anything. Women can be misogynistic, harass and abuse other women.

You did not get it, and instead of trying to illustrate yourself a little, you are taking it out on a manga that wasn't even that relevant.
Either you're a kid or you're hopeless, so I won't waste my time further explaining why you're wrong.
Grow up and touch grass.

Been so long since i've found another piece of depression/traumatic manga since Oyasumi Punpun. The art, character development, storytelling, "NSFW tag" are in perfect harmony to create this art piece.
Thank you for the Translation teams. And thank you Non for the manga creation. And thank you MangaDex for providing the manga.

Painfully average. Villains are literally just a degenerate and "I'm rich so I can do whatever the fuck I want" fuckboy. Main characters act exactly like generic NPCs in taking insults and stuff like that. Does not stand out in any noticeable way in terms of displaying human beings in hardship. Storytelling is pretty average too. Art is fine tho. 6/10
