I feel bad for Adachi. She has mommy issues and can't really connect with anyone. The first person in years she tries to connect with is emotionally unavailable to everyone. I agree with Shimamura that she should try to branch out because there is no way this can end up good for either of them.

Never expected Shimamura to say that out loud but really hope Adachi takes that to heart. Otherwise they wont get anywhere and this story will become unbearable tbh. Tho Shimamura is also really broken too. Shes so apathetic to everything around her.
Also, Adachi ability to never learn from her mistakes is something really high level.
