Love how no one question Yashiro just doing whatever she wants all the time. like. "No? Why would her parents be looking for her? She's just in the most random places all the time?"

Adachi is like a turtle, retreating into her shell at the slightest provocation. And Shimamura is so obviously depressed it's almost painful to watch. She's forcing herself to interact with all these people she doesn't want to actually spend any time or energy on, and she hasn't realized yet that she actually has a lot of fun when she's around Adachi.

I'm guessing the artist actually forgot because Shimamura stoped dyening her hair when she met Adachi and troughout the series the hair actually changes
