Wow this one got me sobbing, everyday I wake up thinking what If my dog is in pain and I don’t know it, what if he feels sad and I don’t know it. And I hate seen how old his getting, is so painful I don’t know how people with a lot of pets can handle this pain.My sister told me that my love for him is too much, because I’m always thinking what I’m gonna do when he pass but how can’t I love him endlessly when he has loved me endlessly?

This chapter hits me harder every time I read it. Adachi still gets to appear in her thoughts, even now. Understandable, since her scarily obsessive affection can be so overwhelming. At the same time, it can be comforting in its own twisted way. She'll always be there for you. Closer than even family.
